Start by deciding your main interests: beaches, diving, mountains, or culture. The Philippines has over 7,000 islands, so it's best to focus on 1-2 regions per week. Cebu and Palawan are great starting points for first-timers.

The dry season from December to May is ideal for beach destinations. January to April offers the sunniest weather. However, surfing destinations like Siargao are often best during the rainy season swell (August to November).
